On Tuesday, December 17 2024,  staff at Eis Laasois participated in an engaging course tailored to physical therapists (PTs), occupational therapists (OTs), and speech-language pathologists (SLPs) working in pediatric school settings. World-renowned presenter Leslie Paparsenos, PT, MS, C/NDT, spent a day at Eis Laasois demystifying the interplay between the cerebellum’s role in motor learning and its impact on functional movement and posture. The attendees developed expertise in assessment and intervention techniques targeting axial alignment, core stability, and dynamic postural control. Through hands-on activities, task analyses, and case-based learning participants were empowered to design interventions that optimize engagement, promote confidence, and improve outcomes for children in school and daily life settings. Leslie created a robust and interactive learning environment which fostered insightful learning, engaging discussion and powerful application strategies.
